A clip consists of a piece of wire with two parallel lines that are joined with oval tips, with different folds to exert pressure on papers, cardboard... that manages to keep them together without damaging them. It has multiple uses. Some historians believe that the Byzantines were the first to use the clip, which was made of bronze. However, they were expensive to produce and were only used to bind imperial documents.
